Building on her background in marketing and
promotion for the Japan Tourist Board; Yoshiko commenced business in New
Zealand providing tourism, English language and life consultant support
for the Japanese market. With an increasing demand for real estate
investment from her clients Yoshiko obtained her real estate
salesperson’s certificate in 2004 and joined her husband Doug as owners
of the Harcourts Mt Eden office. With the advent of the Real Estate
Agents Act 2008 Yoshiko’s designation is that of a ‘Licensed
Salesperson’ under the Act. In 2011 Yoshiko and Doug returned to full
time selling with Harcourts.
Yoshiko sees her role as more that
just marketing and selling real-estate by combining aspects of both
roles to support new and established Japanese immigrants as a life
coordinator. Yoshiko’s experience in international tourism and
management has imbued her with the unique qualities required to bring
buyers and sellers together. Her uncompromising dedication to the
highest level of service is a hallmark of her character and is evident
in everything she does.
